Located directly on the dike in East Frisia, we have something for everyone – water lovers, adventurers, and nature enthusiasts alike. The peaceful location, our wellness oasis, and modern shower blocks offer you plenty of comfort. These include: Well-maintained dishwashing areas. A modern chemical toilet disposal station. All inclusive: Your benefits Enjoy your stay without hidden costs! Our included services make your relaxing camping experience perfect: Use of the sauna and sanarium (wellness oasis). Hot showers and electricity. Wi-Fi on site. All water and waste disposal services. Important note regarding the tourist tax: The municipality of Krummhörn levies a tourist tax. It amounts to €1.60 per night for adults and €0.50 per night for children (6–15 years). Catering and service Restaurant: Right on the campsite you will find our tasteful restaurant Erbsenbinder with good, regional cuisine. Shopping: For bread rolls, ice cream, and other small items, there's a mini-market at reception. You can pay for your purchases cashless at the self-checkout. Everything else you need can be found in nearby supermarkets. Arrival and departure Arrival: We guarantee you access to your pitch from 1:00 PM onwards. Please provide us with the license plate number of your towing vehicle in advance so you can drive directly to your pitch. Departure: Please depart by 12:00 PM. This allows us to carry out the necessary cleaning and mowing so the campsite is ready for the next guests. Electricity Notice: Please note that the operation of air conditioners and heaters, as well as the charging of electric vehicles, is not permitted via the general electrical grid of our campsite to prevent damage. Please inquire at reception about our charging points. Through the East Frisian marshland the tour leads through the villages Hamswehrum, Groothusen, Manslagt and Pilsum. Once you arrive in Greetsiel, you will breathe history and seafaring romance in a unique environment of charming historic gabled houses, idyllic alleys and the dreamy harbour with its typical crab boats. The way back takes you along the outer dike for a while. Why not make a stop at the Pilsum Lighthouse! Made famous by comedian Otto Walkes. Schleuse Leysiel Salty, healthy sea air, a sky stretching to the horizon, grazing sheep – enjoy the endless expanse of the East Frisian North Sea coast on a quiet ride with a fresh breeze on the western outer dike. The route takes you through a sheep grazing area along the dike, past the Pilsum lighthouse towards Greetsiel. As the headwind on the dike can be very strong, an e-bike is recommended for this tour – even for sporty cyclists – which you can rent at our campsite. The destination – the Leysiel floodgate – is at the tip of the headland near the Ley Bay. The floodgate was completed together with the Leysiel flood barrier in 1991 and is the only way out of Greetsiel harbour into the North Sea.
