You will support our campsite manager in the smooth running of the entire daily business on our site. As the main contact person for our guests, you will take care of their questions and requests. You work during the season from the end of March to the beginning of November and collect the necessary overtime for the second half of the year. Afterwards you will have a long time off and enjoy holidays and free time with continuous pay. First you cycle along the dike to the 65-metre-high Campen Lighthouse from 1892, whose steel construction is reminiscent of the Eiffel Tower. Continue inland to the village Campen with its agricultural museum and two imposing churches. Via the outer ring of the village of Woltzeten you cycle through the villages of Groothusen, Hamswehrum and Upleward back to the campsite. The sea shell route is ideal for an afternoon excursion without much time to get to know the area better. Idyllic and full of discoveries, so do not forget your camera. Hamswehrum, Groothusen, Manslagt and the destination Pilsum were built as village on a hill to protect against storm floods. The Pilsum Lighthouse was used to light the Emshörnrinne until June 1915. Since 1973 it has been easily recognisable by its red-yellow paint scheme. Today it is owned by the dike guard Krummhörn and can be visited. This income ensures its maintenance. The lighthouse became particularly popular through the film "Otto – Der Außerfriesische" by the comedian Otto Waalkes. In the film the lighthouse serves Otto as a flat.
