Camper Leuchtturm Starting at the camping park, the tour goes along the outer dike towards the lighthouse of Campen. Germany's highest lighthouse with its 65,3 metres was extensively renovated in 2020. The construction method of 1889 is similar to that of the Eiffel Tower and was an architectural novelty back then. Anyone who takes the trouble to climb the 320 steps up to the lower gallery of the "East Frisian Eiffel Tower" is rewarded on clear days with a view that reaches as far as Borkum and over the Krummhörn to Emden. The way back to the camping park runs between beautiful meadows. Here you can breathe fresh air and let your soul dangle. Your Feedback Did you enjoy the tour?
