Enjoy the charm of our small holiday homes near the North Sea – directly behind the dike. Privacy and comfort is guaranteed. We offer first class and fully furnished Buerstner chalets with 2 bedrooms and about 38 sqm of floor space. Of course, you will also find a nice bathroom with shower, a separate toilet, a fully equipped living-kitchen area with satellite TV and a terrace with garden furniture. For wheelchair and walking frame users we have a Tobs chalet with ramp, widened doors, low shower and a lot of space to move around. This chalet is ideal for guests with prams, too. Arrival is guaranteed from 3 p.m., the departure is until 11 a.m. to allow the cleaning work can take place. We take a deposit of € 50.00 for each booked object. Please note that pets are only allowed on request, because some of our accommodations are reserved for people suffering from allergies. Of course, all our chalets are non-smoking areas. You can then see the flame through the small opening. Then adjust the fan to distribute the heat throughout the room. Gas stove Select the control knob for the desired hob and set it to the Max. Press the control to release the gas. You can now ignite the gas flame. Press and hold the knob for 10 seconds after ignition. The flame then burns safely. The quiet location, the wellness oasis and the new shower houses with the dishwasher areas and a well-equipped chemical toilet station offer you much comfort. Whether sauna or sanarium – these areas are included in the price as well as hot water showers, electricity, WiFi, water supply and disposal. There is a tourist tax of the municipality of Krummhörn, per night for adults 1.60 € and for children / youths (6 to 15 years) 0.50 €. Directly on the campsite you will find our tasteful Erbsenbinder restaurant with good, regional cuisine. For fresh bread, newspapers, ice cream and other little things there is a minimarket at the reception, anything else you can get from nearby supermarkets. Arrivals are guaranteed on the pitches from 1.00 p.m., the departure is until 12.00 noon, so that the cleaning and mowing work can take place. Camping with dog - your family dog ​​is welcome on our dogfriendly campsite, on all pitches and in some of our rental properties! BOOK NOW CHECK AVAILABILITY BLOG Camping with dog Of course, you are welcome to bring your family dog with you on your camping holiday – your loyal companion is very welcome on our campsite. Some of our rental accommodations are also suitable for a stay with pets – as a guest in these, you can request food and water bowls as well as dog beds. The heated dog shower is located at the entrance near the reception, and the cold water shower can be found in front of the "Leuchtturm" shower building. Dog waste bag dispensers are available on the campsite about 50 meters from the entrance barrier, and another one is located 100 meters outside the park. We are also happy to recommend beautiful walking routes and suitable swimming spots for your four-legged friend. A special highlight for our canine guests is our dedicated, fenced dog area right on the campsite. Here, dogs can run around off-leash, play, and socialize with other dogs in a safe and relaxed environment. To make things even more fun, we’ve added various play equipment that invites exploration and activity. This way, your dog’s holiday becomes a truly enjoyable experience too! Walking paths for dogs Walking path for dogs Between the campsite and the Campen Lighthouse, the dike can be entered with a leashed dog. You can take your dog with you on four of the six signposted routes of the Krummhörn-Greetsiel fitness park. In Norddeich (about 35 km away) there is a large dog beach. Here your dog can romp around without a leash. According to the dike guard Krummhörn the following rules apply: According to the Lower Saxony dike law, dogs are not allowed in other dike areas, because sheep have died from being chased by unleashed dogs a few times. Dog excrements can also transmit pathogens to sheep. Some areas (from Campen Lighthouse to our campsite, old dike in Greetsiel) are permitted to carry along leashed dogs in agreement with the shepherds. The instructions of the shepherds and the dike guards must be followed. As we emphasise a good coexistence of humans and animals, we ask for the following: Please remember that there are children and adults who are afraid of dogs. Put your dog on a leash and do not let it run free, even on your stand. Please take special care of children, a dog can be very dangerous for them. Should your dog ever do its business on the campsite, please remove it immediately. First you cycle along the dike to the 65-metre-high Campen Lighthouse from 1892, whose steel construction is reminiscent of the Eiffel Tower. Continue inland to the village Campen with its agricultural museum and two imposing churches. Via the outer ring of the village of Woltzeten you cycle through the villages of Groothusen, Hamswehrum and Upleward back to the campsite. The sea shell route is ideal for an afternoon excursion without much time to get to know the area better. Idyllic and full of discoveries, so do not forget your camera. Camper Leuchtturm Starting at the camping park, the tour goes along the outer dike towards the lighthouse of Campen. Germany's highest lighthouse with its 65,3 metres was extensively renovated in 2020. The construction method of 1889 is similar to that of the Eiffel Tower and was an architectural novelty back then. Anyone who takes the trouble to climb the 320 steps up to the lower gallery of the "East Frisian Eiffel Tower" is rewarded on clear days with a view that reaches as far as Borkum and over the Krummhörn to Emden. Pilsum Our short bike tour takes you through the municipality of Krummhörn and some of its 18 typical villages. Hamswehrum, Groothusen, Manslagt and the destination Pilsum were built as villages on a hill for protection against storm floods. The village of Pilsum, with its towering church and the mighty crossing tower, has been considered one of the most beautiful villages in the municipality of Krummhörn since the village renewal in the mid-1980s. Winding alleys, lovingly renovated rural workers' houses and gulf farms (typical East Frisian farmhouses) and the magnificent church, which is classified as a national monument, give the village its unmistakable charm.
