Enjoy the charm of our small holiday homes near the North Sea – right behind the dike. Privacy and comfort are guaranteed here. Amenities: We offer first-class, fully furnished chalets from Bürstner with approximately 38 square meters of living space. Living area: Look forward to two separate bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen-living room with satellite TV, a lovely bathroom with shower, and a separate toilet. Outdoors: A terrace with garden furniture invites you to relax. Accessibility and service For wheelchair and walker users, we offer a special Tobs chalet. It features a ramp, extra-wide doors, a walk-in shower, and plenty of room to move around. Thanks to its larger size, this chalet is also ideal for guests with strollers. Extra service for you: Beds & Towels: The beds will be made upon your arrival, and towels will be provided. This way, you can travel light and start your holiday relaxed! Baby Set: We are happy to provide you with a complimentary baby set including a travel cot, changing mat, and highchair for the duration of your stay. Arrival, pets and rules Arrival : Arrival at the chalets is guaranteed from 3:00 PM. Departure: Please depart by 11:00 AM so that cleaning and mowing can take place. Pets: Please understand that pets are only allowed upon request, as we keep some of our accommodations pet-free for allergy sufferers. The following chalets are dog-friendly: M43, M50, M51, M52, and M53. Smoking: Naturally, all our accommodations are non-smoking. Example: Bürstner Chalet Example: Tobs, barrier-free Anleitung für unsere Chalets Door opener To lock the door of the chalet, first push the door handle upwards. Then you can lock the door with the key as usual. Heating Our chalets are equipped with gas heating, which is usually preset by us. Do you want to adjust the heating yourself, please set the desired temperature (1-10) and press the control down until the heating ignites and runs. You can then see the flame through the small opening. Then adjust the fan to distribute the heat throughout the room. Gas stove Select the control knob for the desired hob and set it to the Max. Press the control to release the gas. You can now ignite the gas flame. Press and hold the knob for 10 seconds after ignition. The flame then burns safely. Dogs Your dogs are welcome in some of our chalets! At the reception you can get dog beds and food bowls, which we will gladly provide for the duration of your stay. Your four-legged companions should also feel at home with us! We recommend the Outdooractive app for hiking, cycling and more. Pilsumer Leuchtturm The route winds its way through the municipality of Krummhörn and some of its 18 typical villages. Hamswehrum, Groothusen, Manslagt and the destination Pilsum were built as village on a hill to protect against storm floods. The Pilsum Lighthouse was used to light the Emshörnrinne until June 1915. Since 1973 it has been easily recognisable by its red-yellow paint scheme. Today it is owned by the dike guard Krummhörn and can be visited. This income ensures its maintenance. The lighthouse became particularly popular through the film "Otto – Der Außerfriesische" by the comedian Otto Waalkes. In the film the lighthouse serves Otto as a flat. This is exciting for explorers of all ages! Please note: Only hike with a qualified guide. North Sea: At high tide, you can swim directly in the North Sea. Relaxation and active recreation The surrounding area invites you to enjoy active recreation: Activities: The flat landscape is ideal for hiking, inline skating, and cycling. Cycling routes: Attractive themed tours have been developed for cyclists, such as the "Cycling Tour to Pilsum," the "Shell Tour," the "Cycling Tour to the Leysiel Lock," and the "Greetsiel Circular Tour." You'll cycle on small side roads, mostly without steep inclines, and with almost no car traffic. Relaxation through North Sea air The salty, fresh North Sea air is also very good for your health.
